Dubai Public Parks posted video of multi-flavour cups handed out as an 'Eid gift', part of a wider municipal programme that also includes family-only beaches and extended park hours through the long weekend.
What changed from the first announcement
Timings were revised after the initial bulletin. Gulf News confirmed on 26 May that distribution would run 5pm–7pm on the first day of Eid only — not 4pm–7pm across two days as originally stated. If you missed Wednesday's window, the parks themselves remain open late through the holiday; only the complimentary scoops were a one-evening gesture.
