As of 4 June 2026, no official date has been confirmed. Global Village management typically holds back the announcement until late August or early September. The entertainment lineup featured 450 live performers and over 40,500 shows backed by fireworks every Friday and Saturday evening. Season 30 cemented Global Village's status as the UAE's most uniquely multicultural night out.
When Will Global Village Season 31 Open in 2026?
Looking at the data: Season 29 opened on 18 October 2024; Season 30 opened on 15 October 2025. Following that established mid-October pattern, Season 31 is expected to open between 14 and 21 October 2026 — most likely on a Wednesday, which has been the traditional launch day.
The official announcement will appear first on Global Village's official Instagram and the official website at globalvillage.ae — typically six to eight weeks before opening. Set a reminder for late August 2026 and follow both channels. Early-bird ticket pricing runs for just the first few days after the date announcement.
According to Time Out Dubai and Gulf News, this mid-October window aligns with the established annual pattern and is the most reliable planning baseline available ahead of the official announcement.
What to Expect in Season 31
While Global Village has not confirmed Season 31 specifics, history gives us an excellent template for what virtually every season delivers:
30+ country pavilions — From India, Pakistan and China to Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, the UAE, Philippines and Thailand. Each pavilion is a genuinely immersive cultural experience: architecture, crafts, music and food specific to that country.
Weekly fireworks every Friday and Saturday — A Dubai institution. Arrive before dusk for a good viewing spot near the central lake. The reflection doubles the display.
200+ rides and carnival attractions — The Carnaval Zone is a perennial highlight for older kids and teens; smaller rides make the park genuinely workable for all ages simultaneously.
Live concerts and cultural performances — International pop artists, traditional folklore shows, acrobatics and special festival evenings. The line-up rotates throughout the season.
Diwali, National Day and New Year's Eve celebrations — The season spans Dubai's biggest celebration nights. There is no better place to mark UAE National Day on 2 December than among 30 illuminated pavilions with fireworks overhead.
A new headline attraction or pavilion — Global Village traditionally reveals a new zone or installation each season. Season 31's surprise has not been announced yet; the September reveal is always worth the wait.
Season 31 Tickets — What to Budget Right Now
Season 31 ticket pricing has not been announced. For planning purposes, Season 30 charged the following — and Season 31 is expected to land in a broadly similar range:
Weekday entry (online pre-booking): AED 25 per person
General entry (any day, at gate): AED 30 per person
Children under 3 years: Free entry
Senior citizens and People of Determination: Free entry
Parking: AED 20 per vehicle
Season passes — valid for the full October-to-May run — were available for approximately AED 150 to 200 in Season 30 and are exceptional value for families planning five or more visits. My honest tip: resist the opening weekend entirely. The first Saturday after launch is wonderful chaos, but genuinely overwhelming. My favourite Global Village visits have been quiet Tuesdays in late November, when the weather settles into perfect Dubai cool and you can move through each pavilion unhurried. The Syrian shawarma counter alone is worth the trip — but you need an unhurried evening to actually find it.
250+ Food Options — Planning Your Dining Experience
The Global Village food court is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated dining destinations in Dubai. From Turkish lahmacun and Pakistani biryani to Vietnamese pho and Moroccan pastilla, the variety is staggering and unlike anything you find at a single address elsewhere in the city.
Season 30 featured over 250 individual food and beverage outlets. Budget around AED 50 to 100 per person for a proper food court roam — sampling three or four pavilions, plus something from the Arabic sweets stands near the main entrance.
Families with young children will find the dedicated family dining areas mid-park considerably calmer than the main food court promenade on busy evenings. The indoor seating sections with air conditioning are welcome on warmer October and April evenings.
