Primark Lands at Mall of the Emirates — and It's Dubai's Biggest One Yet

There's a new queue at Mall of the Emirates — and it isn't for Ski Dubai. On 21 May 2026, Primark threw open the doors of its third Dubai store in barely two months, and judging by the opening-day crowds, the city's love affair with proper, no-nonsense affordable fashion is in full swing. Primark has landed at Mall of the Emirates
Primark officially opened at Mall of the Emirates on Thursday 21 May 2026 at 3pm, completing what the brand is calling a Dubai “hat-trick” — three stores in two months. It follows the chain's first UAE store at The Dubai Mall in March and a second at City Centre Mirdif in April, all run in partnership with the Alshaya Group.
How big is it? Spoiler: huge
This is no pop-up. The Mall of the Emirates store opens with more than 36,000 square feet of trading space on the ground floor, with a further 8,500 square feet set to open on the first floor later in 2026. Once fully open it's expected to rank among Primark's largest stores in Dubai, staffed by more than 400 colleagues.
It's also a centrepiece of Majid Al Futtaim's AED 5 billion “Mall of New Possibilities” expansion at Mall of the Emirates, which is bringing in big-name arrivals like Skims and Ulta Beauty alongside Primark.
